By Kyle Tsukahira

On Monday October 12th, APIOPA hosted a marketing workshop in order to share some simple yet effective marketing tips and best practices to help Hmong farmers continue to develop and grow their farming business. Some of the topics that were covered was (1) how to engage and grow your customer base, (2) how to establish an online presence, and (3) some effective tips/methods for setting up your stand at the farmers market. The day closed with a roundtable discussion on how Hmong farmers can work together to foster a more equitable marketplace.

Huge thanks to Jensen Vang and the Fresno EOC for hosting us in their confernce space!

Special Thanks to: Youa Yang (Padao Farms), Toulee Chang (Hmong TV Network), and Michael Yang (UC Cooperative Extension) for making this workshop possible
