Scott is the Program Director of APIOPA. He formerly organized the Health Justice Network, a coalition of Southern Californian API health organizations at the Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC). Outside of work, Mr. Chan is involved in many things: http://www.linkedin.com/in/scottechan. Mr. Chan currently holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, Northridge, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Kyle is the Program Manager for APIOPA. He is currently working on The Roots Community Supported Agriculture (Roots CSA) program, APIOPA’s youth biking programs, and air quality work with the Promoting Youth Advocates club at Mark Keppel High School. Kyle was born in Los Angeles and raised Temple City, CA. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Asian and Asian American Studies from California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA). Outside of work he enjoys riding his bike, snowboarding, traveling, and binging on Youtube and Netflix.
Sina Uipi

Sina Uipi is a Community Health Liaison for APIOPA and is currently working on the Faith Advisory Board (F.A.B) project. Sina was a fellow of the 2014 National Pacific American Leadership Institute in Hawaii. Prior to joining APIOPA, she was a data collector/outreach assistant for a smoking sensation program designed for Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders. Outside of work, Sina serves as a mentor and collaborative leader to many organizations such as Empowering Pacific Islander Communities and Pacific Islander Health Partnership. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and two minors in Women Studies and Counseling from San Francisco State University.
Paul Nguyen

Paul is a program specialist for APIOPA. He is currently working on The Roots Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Paul was born and raised in Westminster, CA. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). Outside of work he enjoys running, crossfit, outdoor activities, and being a diehard LA LAKERS fan.
